Dufferin Garden Centre is an independent Garden Centre offers quality plant material, seasonal gift shop and garden necessities.  We are looking for a few energetic people who love to work with plants to join our team.  Please submit all resumes to or fax (519) 941-0782 before March 15,2013.

Nursery Sales and Maintenance Associate (Seasonal)
- the ideal candidate will have quality experience in sales with an enthusiastic attitude towards customers in assisting their plant choices
- experience in garden centres and knowledge of plant material is an asset
- the ideal candidate is able to work independently to ensure the Nursery Plant Material is organized, watered, weeded, and pruned as directed
- outside work is expected and some lifting will be required
- this person will be required to work days, evenings and weekends as scheduled

Greenhouse Sales and Maintenance Associate (Seasonal)
- the ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic attitude towards assisting customers
- experience in garden centres and knowledge of plant material is an asset
- the ideal candidate is able to ensure the annuals, hanging baskets and herbs are organized, watered and maintained as directed
- outside work is expected and some lifting will be required
- this person will be required to work days, evenings and weekends as scheduled

Front Cash Associate (Seasonal)
- the ideal candidate will have quality experience in customer service and cash handling with good organizational skills and an enthusiastic and professional approach to customers
- this position involves working in the Gift Shop, operating cash registers, record keeping and serving customers, as well as sweeping, dusting and pricing products
- the successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure, be a team player and pay close attention to detail
- some lifting will be required to load customer cars
- experience in garden centres and knowledge of plant material is an asset
- this person will be required to work days, evenings and weekends as scheduled
