General Information
Farming is Ontario’s second largest business sector, yet Ontario farm families only represent 2% of the overall population. The food they grow and raise for us is safe and nutritious and more affordable than any other country in the world.
The tour experience is fun and educational for the whole family. At each farm, visitors will have the opportunity to talk to the host farmer and ask questions about their operation.
“We are constantly amazed at the generosity of our farm community who open their doors to the public. This is a richly rewarding experience for all who participate and an incredible opportunity for all ages to discover how farming directly impacts their lives.”
Gail Little, Chair, Dufferin Town & Country Farm Tour
“We can talk to farmers and make a connection between the food we eat and how it is grown.”
