Most recently Woodington Lake Golf Club received the “Best Bang for the Buck” from Toronto Golf Magazine and a notable mention in the Ontario Golf Magazine. Director of Sales and Marketing Ashley John Norman was asked to describe Woodington Lake Golf Club in a most recent interview. “A major misconception that we face is our physical location, the reality is that we are less than 45 minutes from the GTA, the trick is getting people to make that first trip, once they realize that the journey is first and foremost enjoyable and relaxing, its then they realize that the distance is really not far”.
“ The course then wins most of our first time golfers over”, added Mr. Norman, designer and owner of the Woodington Lake Golf Club, Mr. Harry Allard really understands that if a golfer is going to make the trip to Woodington Lake Golf Club their expectations must be delivered. This is evident in the new 18 holes that was completed mid 2007. The Royal Canadian Golf Association, (RCGA) most recently awarded the highest ranking in Canada to Woodington Lake Golf Club new 18 holes golf course.

The Best Bang for the Buck achievement confirms what most of the golfers that play Woodington Lake are saying, Mr. Norman mentions that their online surveys allow Woodington to understand the dynamics and personalities of a golfer that play the course. Mr. Norman concludes “Value is a combination of what golfers expects from a golf course, and what they are willing to pay, we believe that this balance is instrumental in the our success”.

The New 18 receives the highest course rating by the RCGA in Canada, The new 18 is destined to be one of the most difficult and visually stunning golf courses in Ontario. A must play for the avid golfer and the ultimate challenge for the every day player!

This new course incorporates water either strategically or aesthetically on all but 5 holes. Designed with fewer trees and gentle to sometimes-severe mounding, enhanced with waste areas of sand, numerous strategically positioned bunkers and areas of fescue.

With five different tee blocks that start at 5137 yards to the tips at 7606 yards the new course offers a challenge to all types of golfers that want to challenge their game.
