The Top of The Hill Bed & Breakfast is approximately 40Km north west of Toronto in the village of Cheltenham, a tranquil island in a spreading sea of suburbia, on the Credit River.

The Top of The Hill B&B is the oldest home in the village and your hostess Shelley Craig is the seventh generation to live in the house built by the village founder Charles Haines.

The home has been completely renovated, offers three rooms and is fully air-conditioned. In the summer you can just sit back and relax in our hot tub or by the fire place in the winter.

Your hosts Shelley and Steve will provide you with a full country style breakfast, with fresh seasonal fruits, home baking and farm fresh eggs.  We also cater to special dietary requests.

Shelley, a full time piano and voice teacher has aptly named the rooms after famous composers and pianists. The Chopin room has an antique double Pineapple Bed and shares a bathroom with the Bach room that has a double Bird’s Eye Maple suite. The Gould room offers a Queen Sleigh Bed with a three-piece ensuite.

During your stay at The Top of The Hill B&B, you can take a leisurely self-guided walking tour of the historic homes and sites of Cheltenham. Visit the Cheltenham Badlands a picturesque outcropping of Terra Cotta clay left behind after the last ice age. Take a drive In the Hills of Headwaters and enjoy the amazing fall colours just outside Toronto’s Back Door.

Excellent restaurants just minutes away from The Top of The Hill B&B include the well known Terra Cotta Inn, The Belfountain Inn and The Cataract Inn.

Golf championship 18 hole courses, The Caledon Golf and Country Club with its 132 slope rating, The Osprey Valley Course with its Carrick-designed 27 holes or visit one of the many nine hole courses that traverse the rolling hills of Caledon.

Fish the Credit River, now stocked with native Brown Trout or learn how to fly fish with Wayne Martin at the Forks Fly Fishing Shop.

Hike the Bruce Trail, hike or cycle the Caledon Trailway.

Fly into the Brampton Flying Club and we will shuttle you back and forth to your plane.
