Meadow Land Golf Club is a regulation 9 Hole public golf course that is ideal for beginner and intermediate alike. Both an affordable and enjoyable golf experience conveniently located 10 minutes west of Orangeville on the 6th Line of Amaranth.
A fairly level mature course offers an easy walk for the young and young at hearts. Its openness and large fairways can give the accomplished golfer a false security because accuracy is still required to score well. Number eighth, the signature hole challenges the “long drivers” with a large spring-fed pond strategically placed along the two sides of the green with trees to the left and behind. Although only 384 yards, the sixth hole can play a par 4 or par 5 depending on the wind. The “winds of Amaranth” can add a new dimension to each round of golf.
There are three sets of tees on each hole which allows the golfer the flexibility to choose . We want you to put the ENJOYMENT back into your game!
A driving range and practice green is available for those wishing to warm up before the game or just to practice.
Mens League
Our Mens League offers a friendly 9 Hole competition every Tuesday beginning May 7th until the end of October. The league is open to all men over the age of 19. you are free to play with whomever you wish and if you don’t have group we can match you up with another group. Play as often or as little as you wish. Prizes for Low Gross, Low Net, Closest to the Pin and Closest to the Line are awarded each week depending upon the number of participants.
Cost: $20.00 (includes round of golf, warm up balls, prize money and HST)
An 18 Hole 4 Man Scramble Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 (to be confirmed in May) to wrap up the season. Golfers form their own teams with registration beginning mid August. The day begins at 9 am with a shot gun start and wraps up with dinner at our sponsors sports bar where the prizes will be awarded.
Family Golf
Kids under 16 play free when accompanied by a paying adult every Thursday during the season. What a great way to introduce your kids to golf and spend time with them too! It is recommended that a 2 ball format be used when playing with juniors under 10 to keep the game FUN.
Couples Golf
You and your spouse can play 9 Holes of golf each Saturday after 3 pm at a special rate. Also known as “Date Night”, you will enjoy a relaxed round of golf in a quiet environment. Call pro shop for details.
