Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning

In 2004 the Town of Orangeville approached Humber with the concept of establishing a partnership to build a new campus to service the community and those surrounding Dufferin County.

In October 2005, a partnership was formulized where the Town of Orangeville donates a 28 acre building site on Veterans’ Way – County Road #16 in the northwest section of the community.

Humber has committed to the development of a full-service regional campus to be built over the next 10 to 12 years.

Three phases are planned for the campus design including a student residence, as well as an Arboretum.

The Orangeville Campus is targeted to open phase one in the late fall 2007, or early 2008 accommodating up to 400 students. The campus will eventually house 2000+ students in a variety of disciplines.

An Orangeville Campus Community Relations Office was opened in January 2006 to facilitate academic research and general community awareness of the new college campus.

The Orangeville Campus Community Relations Office is located at 229 Broadway Unit #4, Orangeville. The office at this time is open to the public three days a week.
