Thank you to our hydro workers for their hard work in keeping our lights on and to the first responders for keeping us safe during this crazy weather!
The best way to help your garden is to wait until the ice has melted (hopefully soon) before pruning any damaged branches from your plants. Take the broken branch back to the first buds or nodes and prune with a clean cut. We want to create a clean cut so the plant is able to heal itself to avoid further damage from disease and insects.
If evergreen branches are weighted down, prune back some of the weight after the ice has melted.

Dufferin Garden Centre Offers Quality Plant Material, Seasonal Gift Shop, Garden Necessities.
The Dufferin Garden Centre is true to its agricultural roots. Set on the site of the original Rennick family farm, we have been serving the horticultural needs of Orangeville and area since 1975 and under new management since 2000.
We offer a wide variety of plants to suit your horticultural needs. Wander through the different areas of our garden centre to experience the high quality of our plant material, from tropicals, herbs, annuals, vegetables and perennials to shrubs, trees and fruits.

In our Display Garden you will find both native and ornamental labeled plant material, as well as a bubbling waterfall and pond. Enjoy the seasonal blooms and colours, plant combinations and the size of plants in the landscape as well as the soothing sounds of our water features.
Our Rose Garden includes the old fashioned romantic roses, hardy shrub roses as well as many intriguing new varieties.
Enjoy the Perennial and Grass selections include the common, well-known plants as well as the hard to find collector editions.
Our Water Garden area includes everything needed for someone just starting out as well as koi and the appropriate plants needed for the established pond owner. Our knowledgeable staff will work with you to answer your maintenance questions and concerns.
Inside our heritage barn, you will find the Rustic Charm Gift Shop where we have the perfect additions to your garden, from decorative pots, soils, seeds and birdfeeders to organic and chemical pest controls. You just might find the perfect sculpture or ornament from our many displays of cutting edge Garden Art.
