Dufferin Farm Fresh Local Food Map

We’re just starting work on the second edition of Dufferin Farm Fresh local food map.

The first edition of the Dufferin Farm Fresh Local Food Map was a great success. As a first effort, many consumers were happy to be able to find local food directly from a farmer or from a farmers’ market. Restaurants were great at distributing the map to their customers –old and new!

Here are a couple of testimonials:

“From my point of view I thought it was a wonderful project. A number of new customers found us because of it and the copies of the map were eagerly picked up by my customers, so it was definitely what we needed in Dufferin.” Jamie Richards, Am Braigh Farm, Mono Township

“Someone wrote “Thank you Marci for the map” on my washroom chalkboard, and I have had more than half a dozen tables in here in here with the map out–one couple was circling all the places they had been. A HUGE success. Well done, Marci!” Anna, Terra Nova Pub, Mulmur Township

“We couldn’t keep them in stock. Our customers would ask for more for their family and friends, so it was obviously a useful tools for our customers.” Nicky French, Harmony Whole Foods, Orangeville

We’ll keep you posted on our progress for the next edition.

In the meanwhile, if any one is interested in participating , please contact marcilipman@gmail.com.
