Located less than an hour’s drive northwest of Toronto, The Town of Caledon offers a distinctive urban/rural setting to its visitors. Major natural features such as the Oak Ridges Moraine and the Niagara Escarpment, as well as the scenic Humber and Credit river valleys, green spaces and productive agricultural land of the Peel Plain create some of most beautiful scenery in the Greater Toronto Area.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Town of Caledon offers downhill skiing, golfing at any of our nine golf courses, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, camping and an expansive trail system which includes the Bruce Trail, the Trans-Canada Trail Way and the Humber Valley Heritage Trail. These trails offer its users the choice of hiking, biking and cross-country skiing.

For those that like browsing and finding that special one of a kind item, the Town of Caledon has the galleries of our local Artisans, and a great selection of Antique and Gift Shops. While driving through our countryside, discover the quaint villages that are located throughout the hills of Caledon. Each of our twelve villages has a character and charm all there own. The unique, rolling country hills, combined with the friendliness of the community, capture the warmth and attraction that is Caledon. Enjoy your visit!
