Dragonfly "Arts on Broadway" located at 189 Broadway in Historic Downtown Orangeville, has a wide selection of Canadian art and fine craft. Work from local artists include, pottery, wood, silver jewellery, glass, and folk art. Painters and photographers display their work on the walls in an ongoing rotation, creating a new experience every time you visit Dragonfly. The Window on Broadway changes every two weeks so check often to see who is having a show. Step through into the back where our Studio Artists can be found immersed in paint. Check out newly opened Beads on Broadway and watch the dazzling magic of glass bead making. We specialize in bringing together artists with their patrons for unique collaborations and commissions. Artisan of the Year
The Hills of Headwaters Tourism Association gave out awards at its annual meeting on Wednesday June 17th and the Artist of the Year Award went to DRAGONFLY Studio Artist Susan Powell. Susan is a great promotor of arts in the Headwaters region and was on the steering committee of the 20th annual Hills of Headwaters Studio Tour for 2008. Somehow she still managed a full-time job and found time to produce some gorgeous watercolour paintings!
