Located on Second Street, just behind the Town Hall Opera House, the Market will feature free weekly draws, live performances, and of course fresh produce, flowers and home-baked goods.



Meet Pierre the Bear!

Randy Leitch from Leitch HoneyMarket on Broadway feature for Saturday, July 18th is “A Place for Kids…..Did someone say Honey?”  MOB vendor Leitch’s Honey will have a Bee Observation on site for visitors to witness natures own honey factory process.  Randy Leitch will be on hand to answer questions, take you through the fascinating world of bees and offer up fresh honey, honey sticks and more.  Meet Pierre the Bear wandering through the market starting at 10:00 in Alexandra Park where The Orangeville Public library returns for story time at 10:00 a.m. with a reading of “The Big Honey Hunt”.  Enjoy the story and then join the in motion kids corral for games and crafts…all free for the family.  Pottery in the Hills will return once again to offer free pottery painting for kids.

The market is in full swing with everything from tender fruits and vegetables to beautiful hanging baskets and annuals.  Something for everyone whether you fancy wild boar, lamb or elk or fresh beef, home baked goods and chocolate treats.  Visit our mixed market lane for handcrafted wood carvings, jewelry, art, soaps and more.  Artisans welcome your questions and are eager to entertain with their craft.  Market on Broadway promises to tempt every shopper.

Be sure to drop by the Market booth to enter to win this week’s free draw for 4 tickets to the production of  “We Haz Jazz” or pick up your environmental market bag.

The Market on Broadway opening bell rings Saturdays at 8am and runs until 1:00pm with the closing bell.  We look forward to seeing you in downtown Orangeville behind Town Hall at Broadway and Second Streets.

Ready, Set, Grow... the Farmers’ Market is back!

The 18th Annual “Market on Broadway” farmers’ market is back for another exciting season. 
Saturday May 9th to October 24th - 8am to 1pm

Market on Broadway has extended the season in 2009 operating Saturdays until Harvest Celebration on October 24th, from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The 2009 market has expanded to include the entire street from Broadway to First Avenue and is located at Town Hall in the heart of downtown Orangeville.

Residence: Beautiful Orangeville, Ontario
Age: Somewhere between a fresh Ontario peach and the amber coloured Ontario Maple Syrup.
During the Market Season you will find me: from 6am - 2pm at and around the Market on Broadway on Second Street.
My Professional Background is: extensive background in Management and trade shows; I've been involved in organizing & running them for many years.
My favourite vegetables/fruit: spinach, raspberries
