Soup's On!
With the sun setting earlier, some days making dinner is the last thing you want to do after a hard day at work. November is a great time to spend time in the kitchen on weekends, when you have the time and energy to make soups that can be stored and reheated on the stove for dinner throughout the week.
This month we are pleased to present two in-store product demonstrations on November 24th and 25th as well as a Riedel wine tasting on November 16. Tickets for this event are $49.95 (includes five Riedel "O" wine glasses) and can be purchased on our website, where you will also find some of our favourite soup recipes, trivia and tools.
Read November's Secrets from our Kitchen, our free monthly e-newsletter, delivers the latest in culinary trends and upcoming events right to your inbox, be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out! Each month we also draw the name of one of our subscribers to receive a terrific culinary gift. (the November draw is for our product of the month, a Bamix immersion blender valued at $139.99.)

Inspirations are Sparkling at the Dufferin Garden Centre!
Holiday Magic has transformed the Dufferin Garden Centre into a Christmas Wonderland! Our Rustic Charm Gift Shop has plenty of sparkle with our locally-crafted home decor, glass ornaments, Yankee Candles and more!
We are the place to be for winter greens, wreaths and garlands. Our beautiful winter urns are available as custom orders, pre-made or as bundles for those who want to do-it-yourself. Our popular workshops are filling up fast so be sure to check the website for current dates and times.
There is still some time left to put your gardens to bed. Don't forget tree guards, SKOOT or the new 'Bobbex' to protect the base of your trees and shrubs from hungry rabbits, mice and deer. Wrapping your trees and shrubs with burlap will help prevent damaging frost cracks and winter burn. See our Gardening Tips for more information.
Subscribe to ‘Garden Matters’. Our E-Newsletters provide seasonal information and ideas to help you add some sparkle to your home; inside and out!
