Farmers's Markets in the Hills of Headwaters

The lazy, hazy days of summer are in full force here
in the Hills of Headwaters.

Nothing says summer more than a camping getaway or family picnic at one of our conservation areas, fly fishing on the Credit River, or a visit to a farmers’ market to enjoy the abundance of the season. There’s lots happening over the next few weeks: enjoy a visit at the historic Alton Mill on July 16th & 17th for their 3rd annual Cuisine-Art event, and be sure to make a stop in Orangeville for the Rotary Ribfest on July 22-24th.

Be sure to mark your calendars for a celebration of culinary excellence during Summerfeast (August 16th to September 4th), and for our 9-day equine event, Destination Equitation (September 24th to October 2nd), which includes, among other activities, a magnificent parade of horses along Main Street, Erin.

Explore the back roads, and discover the Hills of Headwaters, a great summer getaway, just steps outside Toronto’s back door!
