From Hwy. 401, take Hwy. 410 north. Hwy. 410 north ends at Mayfield Road. Turn left on Mayfield Road. Follow Mayfield Road until Heart Lake Road, and turn left onto Heart Lake. Heart Lake Conservation Area is located on the right hand side at 10818 Heart Lake Road.

This Conservation Area takes its name from the lake which is the focus of much of the activity here. Heart Lake is a naturally occurring kettle lake - a legacy of the last glacial age in Southern Ontario. The dense forest surrounding the lake makes you feel like you’re hours from the city, even though you’re only minutes away!
