The Farmhouse Pottery is located on the Hockley Road just outside of Orangeville an hour's drive northwest of Toronto. It is situated in a scenic region of Ontario called Headwaters Country. Headwaters country is the highest geographic location in Ontario and is the source of four river systems, the Grand, Humber, Nottawasaga and Credit. The Niagara Escarpment adds beauty and elevation to the scenic drives that grace our region. We host many inns, B&Bs, rustic villages, art studios, parks and theatres. If you are interested in a tourism map of the area, please email us at info@pacepottery.com.

The Farmhouse Pottery was established in 1977 by Allan Pace and Bill Reddick in Erin, Ontario. Al and Bill had just graduated from Lakefield College School where their interest in pottery had been ignited and their skills in setting up a pottery studio had been born. Both are still potters after 26 years with Bill operating Northport Pottery in Prince Edward County and Al operating The Farmhouse Pottery in Hockley Valley.

The studio gallery is nestled on the banks of the Nottawasaga River. This log construction studio provides a beautiful setting for Al's pottery and also a home for Al, his wife, Lin Ward and his son, Taylor Pace.

In the summer, Lin, Al and Taylor also run an outfitting centre in Norman Wells, N.W.T.  For more information visit the website for Canoe North Adventures
