Serene hills and valleys, clean and plentiful rivers, and horses grazing in lush green pastures, signal your arrival in the Hills of Headwaters, the centre of all things equestrian in the province of Ontario!
The Hills of Headwaters region of Ontario is one of the most concentrated equestrian areas in the province of Ontario. Throughout the hills of Caledon, Erin and Dufferin County you will find some of the country’s premier horse breeding farms, coaching and training facilities, riding schools, boarding stables, equestrian ranches, suppliers (including farriers, veterinarians, feed, bedding and tack shops) and a wide range of equestrian events.
In 2015 visitors will be arriving in the Hills of Headwaters to celebrate the Pan Am Games, and the region will be welcoming the athletes (both 2 and 4-legged) for the equestrian events. Mark your calendars and plan to join us at the Caledon Equestrian Park and the Will O’Wind eventing centre for these world-class events.
Our Headwaters Equine Leadership Group works to promote the Headwaters region as a centre of excellence in the province of Ontario, and to support, grow and advocate for this vital sector of our regional economy. We welcome your input into the work we are doing, and encourage you to contact our office at 519-942-0314 to find out more.
