The Hills of Headwaters region of Ontario is one of the most concentrated equestrian areas in the province of Ontario. Throughout the hills of Caledon, Erin and Dufferin County (including Orangeville, Mono, Mulmur, Amaranth, East Garafaxa and East Luther Grand Valley) you will find some of the country’s premier horse breeding farms, coaching and training facilities, riding schools, boarding stables, equestrian ranches, suppliers (including farriers, veterinarians, feed, bedding and tack shops) and a wide range of equestrian events.
The Hills of Headwaters, just steps outside Toronto’s back door, is replete with some truly wonderful places to visit – settlements such as Erin, Hockley Village, Belfountain, Shelburne, Bolton and Orangeville boast some fabulous events, things to see and people to meet.
