The Old Downtown Gallery is located on Broadway at the entrance to the Heritage District of old downtown Orangeville. Going West from Hwy 10 up Broadway we are located on the North side just before Greystones Inn at Third Street. We have a large parking lot adjacent to the gallery. Look for the sign with the Iroquois Warrior...

The Old Downtown Gallery is a fine art gallery housed in an 18th century custom designed building located beside historic Greystones Inn on Broadway. The ambience is warm and inviting and takes you back in time. The Gallery specializes in historic depictions of North American frontier and colonial scenes, offering original art, bronze sculpture and fine art reproductions by some of North America's top international artists.

Art E-Newsletter

We invite you to sign-up for our quarterly e-newsletter where we will keep you informed on new art releases, news about our fine artists, plus events and history dinners.

You will also find an intriguing selection of new and used historical books and a few little Canadiana antique treasures for sale. The Gallery offers fine archival custom framing with elegant design suiting both the period and the piece.

The Old Downtown Gallery offers original art by John Buxton, Michael Dumas, Wayne Hyde, Adriano Manocchia, Laurie McGaw, Dean Morrissey, Lee Teter, Brent Townsend, Cory Trepanier, Derek Wicks and David Wright.

In fact the Old Downtown Gallery is the only Canadian Gallery featuring the powerful and emotive art of Lee Teter and the magnificent bronze sculptures of Wayne Hyde. The Gallery is currently featuring rare original pencil drawings by Lee Teter with an Eastern Woodlands theme. A "must see".

The Gallery is the authorized dealer for the fine works of Pino, Robert Griffing, John Buxton, David Wright, the Thomas Ross Collection, plus all artists represented by Greenwich Workshop and Millpond Press, in Canada (Nature's Scene). See our "Prints, Restrikes and Fine Art Reproductions" section for more information.

The Gallery's Proprietor, Brenda Chabot, invites you to visit her at the Gallery and experience what several clients have described as " a visual delight upon entering ....."

You are also invited to have a pleasant browse through our website.
