To reach Blood Moon Alpacas

From Orangeville, head west on County Road #109, turn left onto Dufferin Road 3, right (north) onto 15th Line, we are the third driveway on the left.

From Toronto, Mississauga or Oakville, drive west on highway 401 and turn north onto Trafalgar Road. Follow Trafalgar Road, passing Georgetown (this requires a short drive on highway 7). North of Georgetown, Trafalgar continues to the right. Drive north through Hillsburgh and then turn right at the Dufferin Road 3. Turn left at the first crossroad (15th Line, be careful, it is easy to miss)and we are the third driveway on the left.

Blood Moon Alpacas is located at 271350 15th Line of East Garafraxa, 15 minutes west of Orangeville.



CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE & SALE at Hidden Hollow Alpacas, Saturdays & Sundays until Christmas

Blood Moon Alpacas and Hidden Hollow Alpacas invite you to come and shop for gifts made from the soft, luxurious fibre known as the 'fibre of the Gods'.  Alpaca fibre comes in 22 natural colours and is generally considered to be hypoallergenic.  It is warmer than sheep's wool and does not contain lanolin. 

Our awesome selection of luxurious gifts will include alpaca socks, insoles, mitts, hats and scarves as well as yarn and rovings for your favorite fibre artist.  New this year are beautiful, soft ALPACA THROWS in soft natural colours and plaids.  A perfect gift for not only Christmas but weddings, house warmings and anniversaries.

Most of our products are made from our own fibre that is processed locally. 

Trek on down to HIDDEN HOLLOW ALPACAS, 5009 Ninth Line, Erin, ON (south of the town of Erin, north of the Ballinafad Sideroad).  There is only two weekends left to get the gift of warmth - Saturday & Sunday, December 10 & 11 and 17 & 18, from 10am to 4pm.  Check www.hiddenhollowalpacas.ca for contact info and directions.


Canadian Alpaca Farm Days September 24 & 25, 2011

The new location of Blood Moon Alpacas is not yet set up for visitors but we will be helping out at HIDDEN HOLLOW ALPACAS at 5009 Ninth Line, just south of the town of Erin so please join us for Art & Alpacas in the Afternoon.  Hidden Hollow Alpacas will be showcasing their award winning alpacas along with the work of a local artist.  Bring your curiosity and your camera.  We are prepared to answer questions and we have a few alpacas that will pose for pictures.  There will be lots of alpaca products for sale.  So if you are looking to warm your toes for the upcoming winter months we will have socks and insoles along with yarn and roving for the fibre artist. (Please note: cash or cheque only)

 

Whether you are curious to learn about the animal, their eco-friendly fibre or would like to find out more about alpaca farming, you will not regret a rumble through the country-side to visit an alpaca farm.

Pack your car, and drive to Hidden Hollow Alpacas in Erin on Saturday or Sunday.  We would love to see you between the hours of 11am and 4pm.
