Take Highway 10 north through Orangeville until you get to Hockley Road. Turn right. Follow the paved road to Black Birch Restaurant, on the south side across from the parking area for the Bruce Trail. The restaurant is between Highway 10 (3km to the east) and Airport Road (5km to the west) on the Hockley Valley Road, also called County Road #7.

Located on Hockley Road, just east of Orangeville, Black Birch Restaurant provides the Orangeville and Hockley Valley region with upscale country bistro cuisine, both dine in and take home.

Using local and organic ingredients whenever possible, chef Mark Mogensen will create an exciting and constantly evolving seasonal menu of both traditional and vegetarian dishes with a modern, playful flair.

We also offer prepared take out food so you can enjoy the country bistro cuisine of the Black Birch restaurant in the comfort of your own home. Or pick up something for a hike on the Bruce trail or on the hills of Hockley Valley ski resort, both of which are steps away.

The property is set on the Nottawasaga river and is home to many species of birds, as well as other wildlife, which you can watch and enjoy, both indoors and out.
